Outside of time spent honing his craft as a writer, you are likely to find Marc fishing with one of his three kids (Miles, Penny, and Owen), reading a historic biography, or dining at a local ethnic food establishment.

The apple truly does not fall far from the tree for Marc as he now resides in Sandy, Utah, about 3 miles from the home he lived in as a child. Although he has a fondness for home, he hopes to continue to see the world with Emily, his wife of 24 years. Some of his favorite places to visit have been Japan, Philippines, fishing in the rivers of Alaska, and the sandy beaches of Mexico.

He takes great care and time in his writing, but you could not say he lives to work. He finds his greatest peace in living a balanced life with adequate time given to family, his faith, and his work.
